Its steel frame makes it the most durable backboard on the market. The inherent strength and durability of steel create an ideal support structure for tempered glass. While most aluminum-framed backboards fail under approximately 317 kg (700 lbs) of pressure, our regulation steel-framed backboards can withstand over 500 kg (1,100 lbs) of direct force.

In addition, the steel frames are powder-coated to prevent oxidation and extend the lifespan of the backboard.
